Subminiature tubes are miniaturized versions of vacuum tubes. They were made in a very compact glass tube, had flexible leads instead of pins, and consumed much less power.
Subminiature tubes were widely used in small amplifiers, portable radios and hearing aids. Sub-miniature tubes are still available in quantities, and are great for DIY projects such as miniature tube amps and guitar effects.
The pictures don't show all the leads, but our subminiature tubes come with full length leads unless otherwise stated.
